The lakes are manmade but still they are enjoyed and a wonderful welcomed additional to the area. Lake Forest is also only 11 miles to the beach sure doesn’t hurt either. 🙂

Lake Forest City motto, “Remember the past, challenge the future,” is the Lake Forest way of life. The rich heritage of the past is preserved and enhanced in this contemporary city ready to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.

The homes totally fit into that motto. There’s a huge range of homes, condos, and townhouses for sale, they come in all styles, sizes, and prices. Being a view girl, I love the lakeside homes are actually older, but many of them have been updated and have this amazing, relaxing vibe. They can be a bit pricy, but some even come with little boat docks. Oh, and about the lake, it’s not huge, but taking a peaceful trip on the lake is absolutely wonderful.

If you’re into newer, modern homes, you gotta check out Baker Ranch, Portola Hills, and Foothill Ranch. They’re a bit more inland, so it’s about a 10-mile drive to the 5 freeway – just something to consider. Oh, and remember, 10 miles doesn’t necessarily mean 10 minutes! On the upside, they’re pretty close to the toll road, so that’s an option to explore.
