Here’s what you need to know and How!
If you are in Irvine, Corona, Orange, and RSM, this company Recycle from Home will come and pick up your recycle bottles from your home.
You can’t beat the price, it will probably cost you as much to drive there. Not to mention your time and putting yucky bags those in your car. They are super nice, you can leave them out if you are not going to be home.
They take 10% of your money. So, if you had a $25.00 pick-up, they keep $2.50, they Venmo you the money within 24 hours. AND, you don’t pay for the bags to put them in either, bonus score! We used them and we highly recommend them. This is not a paid ad but rather a company we love and appreciate. The example here is a picked up 4 bags.
Get Started
To get started, you will need to get their bags. You call them up and ask them to drop the bags. You will get a package that has the bags, labels, and information. The beginning is the worst part because you need to do this and sort them (like recycle center) putting them in their bags. Once you have the bags, you can just put them in there from the beginning. You put a scanner label on each bag and schedule a pick-up. They can only pick-up 25 pounds each trip but that is a state regulation, not theirs so if you have more, just schedule another pick up after they picked up your scheduled one. So so so easy, love it!
They may have a few kinks to work out but I don’t mind, like sometimes they don’t scan and have to enter the numbers manually. To enter them manually is not a big deal and I think they will fix that. I did hear they are working to advance this and less sorting in the future but for now, just follow their instructions.
